I am pleased to announce the official release of my track “In the Pudding”, a 140bpm trance track written earlier this year. It is out now, the 1st of December 2023, released by Twinspin Records/Martin Gauthier and is available on all major purchasing and streaming services.
The name “In the Pudding” comes from the phrase “The proof is in the pudding”, or “the proof of the pudding is in the eating”. For me, when I created the track in early 2023, I was thinking that getting this track out to labels and getting it accepted would be the proof that I was going in the right direction. Whilst I make music that I want to listen to, it is nice to know that other people like it too. Now the track is out in the wild it is so warming to see other people playing it and the proof of the pudding is in the listening.

Every play and stream is great, I love my music being heard. However, streaming doesn’t help support me as an artist. Track purchases on iTunes and Amazon cost less than a £1 and could be worth the equivalent of 50-100 stream plays.

The track was named after the phrase “the proof is in the pudding”, referencing the thoughts as to whether people will like my version of trance music that I have been making in 2023. It features a rolling bass, some acid (wub) bass elements, choir-esque elements and some piano – all part of my signature sound. Unusually, for me, “Pudding” only has a single central break.
