A Track From Scratch #1- Recycle Me

I sat down this week to create a track. I began with no ideas, no muse, no musical mojo. I thought I would force myself to make…something. I also made the perhaps foolish decision to record myself at every step of the way and share it. Bring forth the DAW faffing.

My DAW of choice is FL Studio. I am no musical professional but I have used the DAW for a while and have my own approach to making EDM tracks using it. If you are thinking about getting FL Studio, have recently acquired it, or use another DAW such as Ableton and are interested in how the other side can possibly make music with that funny FL thing then feel free to take a look at my own method of making a track.

Aside from bookending the recordings with my logo and “sting” music I am not editing these videos. I might, if I get any good feedback on them, edit them a bit and pop them on youTube but, for now, I am uploading them unedited on my Patreon page. Don’t worry, they are available to all membership types, including totally free memberships. There are quite a few parts.
